I absolutely love this quote. I think it sets the whole tone for this movie. But what about in life? It's so true. We definitely have the ability to affect other people. Sometimes we do not realize how much we affect others. Keeping this in mind, you should always treat others with respect & how you would want to be treated.
Thinking back on all the people in my life, there are definitely many who have left fingertips on me.
Some have inspired me.
Some have helped me to be where I am today.
Some have held me back.
Some have hurt me very badly.
My point being, people help shape the person we are today, & will continue to help shape the people we will be in the future. Yes, we have a choice to how we will respond to the things that happen to us, & what people will do to us, & these are all learning experiences, but we can not always control how people will touch our lives. We can only learn from them.
